Occupational Therapist

About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven OT that can bring a great sense of fun to their therapy.  This role is perfect for an experienced OT or someone earlier in their career with a strong desire and commitment to learning and developing their skills.  The caseload is busy and varied and involves a mix of clinic-based sessions, school visits, home visits and providing group therapy.  For the successful applicant there is scope to develop their caseload as per their strengths, interests and experience.

We offer flexible hours and opportunity to manage own caseload /schedule of appointments to provide excellent work/life balance.  We support and encourage ongoing professional development.  We hold regular team meetings and in-services and have a strong network of allied health therapists.  Regular formal and informal supervision is also provided.

We can offer full time or part time hours to suit the successful applicant.

This role would be perfect for you if you:

  • are an AHPRA registered OT with a desire to work with children and families (new grads or soon-to-graduate OTs are welcome to apply).
  • are a people person, have a natural ability to work with children and exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • have demonstrated ability to work autonomously and also within a team.
  • enjoy working in a busy and varied role, have excellent time management skills and ability to manage own caseload.
  • are driven to provide excellent intervention and committed to professional development
  • enjoy being part of a small team and are happy to have a chat and a laugh over coffee.
  • Have a Working with Vulnerable People card or willingness to get one.

    Allied Health Assistant

    About the role:

    The position is a casual role with flexible hours to fit around your schedule.  We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and has a natural ability to engage with children.  The role will involve assisting clients to participate in OT programs (with specific instruction from our OTs).

    This role would be perfect for you if you:

    • Are an OT student OR have a Certificate in Allied Health Assistance
    • You are a highly motivated to learn and continue developing your skills.
    • You have a desire and natural ability to work with children and are confident in your ability to engage children in a fun way to promote participation in their OT program.
    • Have excellent communication skills and are able to communicate clearly with team members, clients and families.
